Meet the o/19 B Girls Hockey team of Milnerton High School for 2018. These girls did something very special this season. Midway through the season, they decided to do something different. They wanted to do something while playing a sport they love. You could say they wanted to do  #MakeADifference.

The target was to raise fund for the @LungRunners and the target was set at R 800. This money will go to our Christmas Project for Huis Zonnekus. This old age home is not far from the school.

The girls decided to pledge an amount for every goal scored and every clean sheet. Playing 6 games, winning 4, 1 draw and losing 1 game (to Melkbosstrand High School’s 1st team). This meant that they raised more money than what they initially set out. GREAT JOB girls. You are all Super Stars.

The team managed to raise a whopping R 930 for our project, and we would like to thank every girl that played their heart out for the School and for the @LungRunners. Well done!

From the @LungRunners, we would like to wish all the players good luck for the upcoming exams, especially the Matrics. Stay strong and study hard.
